1. Begin with clean water and a clean spa filter.
2. If changing from bromine or a biguanide system, drain and refill the hot tub before installing FROG @ease+.
3. Balance the water before installing the system.
4. Adjust total alkalinity to 80-120 ppm.
5. Adjust pH to 7.2-7.6.
6. Maintain total hardness between 150-250 ppm.
7. Add the included FROG Jump Start packet to establish the initial chlorine residual.
8. Connect one SmartChlor+ cartridge to the mineral cartridge by aligning the arrows, pushing the cartridges together and twisting to lock.
9. Set the SmartChlor+ cartridge according to the hot tub’s water capacity.
10. Place the connected system into the hot tub and attach the tether when needed.
11. Test the water regularly using FROG @ease Test Strips.
