1. Confirm that your Bullfrog Spa uses the Simplicity Filtration System and updated cartridge housing.
2. Test and balance the spa’s total alkalinity, pH, and total hardness before installing the cartridge.
3. Remove the depleted gray SmartChlor cartridge from the cartridge holder.
4. Set the dial on the new XL cartridge according to the setting recommended for your Bullfrog Spa model.
5. Insert the new cartridge into the holder alongside the blue FROG @ease Mineral Cartridge.
6. Reinstall the cartridge holder in the Simplicity filter housing.
7. Test the water regularly using FROG @ease Test Strips.
8. Replace the SmartChlor cartridge when the Out Indicator appears or the cartridge is depleted.
