The thrml. AIRCAP 1 is a lightweight, foam-free replacement hot tub cover designed to eliminate one of the most common problems with traditional spa covers: waterlogged foam that becomes increasingly heavy and difficult to lift.
Instead of an absorbent foam core, the AIRCAP 1 uses welded drop-stitch construction and an insulated air chamber. The sealed structure does not absorb water, helping the cover maintain its weight, shape and insulating performance throughout its service life.
Available in six sizes, the AIRCAP 1 fits qualifying square hot tubs measuring 77" to 94" across. Each cover includes three interchangeable Ziptech skirt depths, allowing you to select the skirt that best fits your spa cabinet.

🧩 Compatibility & Fitment
The AIRCAP 1 is currently designed for qualifying square hot tubs measuring 77" to 94" across the top.
To determine the correct size:
- Measure straight across the top of the spa from side to side.
- Measure straight across the top from front to back.
- Use the larger measurement when selecting your AIRCAP 1 size.
- If the measurement falls between two sizes, round up to the next size.
A slightly oversized cover can overhang the cabinet edge, while an undersized cover may leave gaps and fail to seal properly.
A corner-radius measurement is not required. The AIRCAP 1 uses a flexible, semi-custom design rather than the rigid foam inserts found in traditional replacement covers.
The current AIRCAP 1 is not intended for rectangular, round, triangular or other non-square spas. Spas smaller than 77" or larger than 94" are also outside the currently available size range.

- Unpack the cover and confirm that all included components are present.
- Place the AIRCAP 1 on a clean surface and inspect it before inflation.
- Inflate the cover using the included pump and the instructions provided in the AIRCAP 1 manual.
- Select the Ziptech skirt depth that best matches your spa cabinet.
- Zip the selected skirt securely onto the cover.
- Position the cover evenly across the top of the spa.
- Install and adjust all four keyed locking tie-down straps.
- Confirm that the cover sits evenly and seals around the spa’s perimeter.
